Here at Dentistry of Chattanooga, we love meeting new patients. Part of easing your concerns is explaining what you can expect from our practice. When you are new to our office, we put in the effort to provide you with a positive and comforting experience. Once you have been with us for a while, you can continue to expect the highest level of service. We focus on providing quality dental care, excellent customer service, and a relaxing environment to maintain a lasting patient relationships. We consider your first visit the start of a long-term relationship with you.
During your initial appointment, we will perform various tests to assess the condition of your oral health and to create a dental plan based on your unique, individual needs. We look forward to meeting you!

Dr. Vanessa Drake
Dr. Vanessa Drake earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga. She then went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Science at the University of Tennessee, College of Dentistry at Memphis in 2006. Dr. Drake is a member of the American Dental Association®, the Tennessee Dental Association, and the Chattanooga Area Dental Society. She is trained in many advanced procedures such as Invisalign®, dental laser, and implant restoration. Dr. Drake is married with three children and enjoys being involved in her church. She is a native of Harrison, TN and has had the privilege of practicing dentistry in Chattanooga for almost 20 years.
Carrie Bingham
Front Office
Carrie has over 15 years in the dental field. She is happily married for over 30 years with two children, two dogs, two cats, and lots of chickens. In her spare time, she loves doing a variety of crafts while listening to music, hanging with friends and family, and spending time outside in the warmer months. Carrie always looks forward to greeting you with a smile when you visit our office.
Kristy Boyd
Front Desk
Kristy started with us in 2025. She graduated in 2014 with a Bachelors degree in Psychology. When Kristy isn’t working she enjoys being on the water and spending time with her husband Justin and their 4 children. She also is a proud doggy mommy to her American Bully Cooper.
Shirley DeMatteo
Registered Dental Hygienist
Shirley is a graduate of Chattanooga State with a degree in Dental Hygiene. She is a native of Chattanooga and has lived here all her life. She loves traveling and spending time with family.
Jessica French
Registered Dental Hygienist
Jessica moved to the area with her family in 2010. She graduated from Chattanooga State. In her spare time, she loves outdoor activities. She loves being a dental hygienist.
Amanda Deane
Dental Assistant
Mandy graduated from Chattanooga State in 1997 as a registered and certified dental assistant. She has worked as a registered dental assistant with Dentistry of Chattanooga for the last 25 years. She loves our team and one of her greatest joys is the opportunity to provide excellent care and comfort to our patients. Mandy is happily married and enjoys spending time with her husband and six children. She also works part-time as a church nursery coordinator for almost 30 years.
Jena Del Valle
Dental Assistant
Jena has been a registered Dental Assistant since 2013. She attended Chattanooga College and has a passion for animals. She enjoys spending time with her beloved dogs Jade and Sassy.
